What to do to create fun in your relationship.

One
Choose something that brings you both joy. It doesn't matter what it is.
Joy can look like saying, “YES, let’s go to that movie!” Grab some popcorn, relax, and enjoy. Whether it’s in Spanish, English, or with subtitles, the key is to embrace spontaneity and choose something fun in the moment.
Two
Celebrate something you enjoy together.
Is it socializing, going out to dinner, or dressing up for a special occasion? Maybe it’s as simple as sharing gratitude for one another. Imagine sitting down weekly to express what you appreciate about each other—what a beautiful way to connect.
Three
Each of you chooses something for the other to try.
Step out of your comfort zone! Once, I joined a group of strangers for an escape room challenge. While I wouldn’t have chosen it myself, I gave it a try—and had fun! Whether or not it becomes a new favorite activity, it’s all about discovery. Let your partner pick something, and go with it—you might be surprised.
Four
Learn something new together.
Find out what your partner loves and explore it with them. Then, share something you’re passionate about and engage in it together. Why not make learning a shared adventure?
And Five
Do something fun for yourself, and encourage your partner to do the same.
- Plan surprises for each other.
- Have quality time together.
- Enjoy some alone time too.
- Create curiosity and excitement.
- Focus on shared fun and enjoyment.
These moments of spontaneity and exploration break you out of routine, foster new experiences, and deepen your connection.
